Stop being tired all the time and start feeling energised and refreshed. You don't need to take pep pills. You just need to do a few of the things listed below and you'll start to feel alive again. You don't have to do them all in one day, try an incorporate them over a week or two.
You won't just be slumping in front of the TV, you'll get round to some of those jobs you've been putting off, you'll feel like you are alive again rather than just existing. If you don't take the time to get your energy back you may get stuck in the 9 to 5 routine, where you get up early for work, commute to your job, then come home exhausted, eat your dinner, watch some TV, go to bed and then... it all starts again. Get off the 9 to 5 treadmill. Take back the control. Start living the life you want not the one you've been stuck in.
There's a famous quote by W.L. Bateman "If you keep on doing what you've always done, you'll keep on getting what you've always got."
If you want to feel alive again try some of these energy givers:
• Hydrate - drink plenty of fresh, clean water throughout the day. You don't have to drink gallons just keep topping up your glass all day. Water keeps your brain active and your body refreshed.
• Shower Shot - get an energy boost by taking a power shower, try a sort blast of cold water to really make you feel alive again. Then blast it again! you'll feel invigorated.
• Laugh like a child - watch some films or TV programmes that you know will make you laugh. Don't hold back, remember how you used to laugh uncontrollably as a child, let yourself go and laugh full throttle.
• Put your favourite music on, turn it up loud and dance like no one is watching you and if someone is so what. Try it. It's a great stress reliever. It'll make you smile.
• Write down some goals you'd like to achieve, don't worry about how you are going to achieve them, dare yourself to dream a new life. Don't pooh pooh this one. It can be life changing if you believe in your goals. So be bold and set bold goals.
As Ralph Waldo Emerson said "Tomorrow is another day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."
Take any or all of these points as your call to action. Make the change now. Commit to your decision to feel alive again. Do it and do it now. Laugh, dance, dream, life's for living. Realise you CAN get your life back and you'll get your energy back. You'll stop being tired all the time. Start living with energy and laughter TODAY.
